Senators Trim Roster. Bass Sent Down

The Ottawa Senators reduced their training camp roster by eight players today.

Six players were assigned to attend the training camp of the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, which opened on Sept. 16 at Binghamton’s Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Two other players will return to their major junior teams

The group headed to Binghamton includes defenceman Geoff Kinrade; forwards Cody Bass, Ryan Keller, Jeremy Yablonski and Ilya Zubov, and goaltender Andy Chiodo. Returning to their Ontario Hockey League teams are goaltender Robin Lehner, to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, and forward Brett Parnham, who will report to the Oshawa Generals.

The Senators camp roster is now comprised of 32 players: three goaltenders, 10 defencemen and 19 forwards.
